Styrofoam Carving- Swan

As starters , we are required to have our own cutters, a long ruler and pencil , then we are asked to carve a swan and cutting the polystyrene into the required size , an outline of a swan is drawn on the block.

We are asked to use our imagination in seeing that there is a bird inside the polystyrene and have to detailed and a sprinkle of visualisation. Then, cut the block along the  outline that was drawn.

And , we are asked to used sandpaper to smoothen the rough edges so that the swan doesn't look boxy at its body and draw outlines for the swan's wings and followed by carving the wings.
After the wings are craved, smooth it with sandpaper. Paint it with your own creativity.
